Hiper IoT Light DL722 smart lamp review

When the Smart Home system gradually seeps into your apartment, the desire to install more and more appliances with the ability to control from your phone increases every day. Sockets, kitchen lamp, scales, fan, air purifier — one touch of the screen and everything can be turned on / off / configured. That is why I also wanted to highlight the largest room of the apartment “in a smart way”. Today I will present to your attention a smart lamp IoT Light DL722 from Hiper.

Packaging and equipment

The IoT Light DL722 comes in a large, colorful carton. The manufacturer was able to fit quite a lot of useful information on the box: a photo of the lamp, key features and benefits, as well as technical specifications on the back.

Inside, the lamp is in a plastic bag and fixed in a cardboard holder for protection during transportation. The delivery set is located inside the Hiper IoT Light DL722 and consists of instructions and fasteners.

Appearance

If you look at the unplugged lamp from a distance, it looks like an ordinary white ceiling lamp. However, upon closer inspection, you can see small dots on the plastic diffuser, which imitate the starry sky at night in the night light mode. It looks nice enough. On the metal base there is a control unit and an LED strip. The tape is twisted in the form of a spiral and fixed in such a way that, if necessary, it can be dismantled and replaced with another one. The base and diffuser are fastened together with a grooved connection.

Connection method and software

To power the Hiper IoT Light DL722 lamp, you need to connect zero and phase, if you also have a ground, then there is a connection for it.

Having connected the lamp to the network, we check it for inclusion — if everything is fine, then you can pair the device with your phone.

User experience

Due to the rather large dimensions of the lamp, it fits perfectly into our room. It is light, does not attract too much attention during the daytime, and in the evening it is very convenient to switch it to night light mode and set the timer to turn off when the whole family is already sleeping.

Conclusion

Large lamps or spotlights, stretch or suspended ceiling — the choice will, of course, be for everyone. But if the priority is to keep pace with the times, good light with the ability to adjust for yourself at any time and clear one-touch control — the IoT Light DL722 smart lamp is an excellent solution. The little daughter and wife appreciated dad’s choice, especially the baby liked to change the color. Now we wake up better in the morning — it gets light early in the winter, so we have to turn on the light — every morning we get our own color of mood. Whether cold or warm, whatever your heart desires.
